A few missing days.

I hate this week in the challenge. I hated it last time, I still do. It's delicate print that stops me in my tracks. I don't know what that is? Anyway, here is that day, glitter, and half moon!!!

 Venique Lost in Bermuda with BM310 plate! This is day 15. Delicate print enough? Yeah it's cool. =)

What? Did I just skip tribal print? Yes. Yes I did!

Day 17 Glitter. This is great because this is 3 different bottles of glitter. Zoya Natty is the base coat, then over that, middle finger: Spoiled Use Protection (that was actually the first time I looked at the name of that. I had a good chuckle.). Ring finger: Julep Harper. Pinkie: Sinful Colors Nail Junkie. That one was actually 3 coats. The glitter isn't as dense there. I like this cheapy Spoiled brand, but I got it out of my state at a pharmacy. I can't find it here. Oh well...

Yeah, I have 3 of the same glitters.

Day 18 is Half Moons. I still find this style pretty unattractive, but I really am coming around! I liked this a lot with the hand placed glitter! This is Zoya Blu and Julie. Hand placed Venique Twinkling Glitter. I love these pretty pastels by Zoya!!!

Day 13 - Flowers!

Hey everyone. Here is some more freehand fore you. In all honesty, I'm not a huge fan of this. I think it's my acrylic paint. It's just bad quality! But oh well, here you have it!

This is Sinful Colors Easy Going. Its such a nice soft pinkish white. Totally love it! The flowers are acrylic paint with a one stroke technique which I am not so good at. Practice practice!!! Again, it's probably just my paint. That and you are your biggest critic, right? Looking back, I shouldn't have put the little swirly pink things on..Yeah.

Zombies on the Loose!

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!

I've seen so many cool manis for today. Lot's of zombie things that I want to do! However, I went a more simple approach. Just kind of the sidelines of the zombies, I guess. Well, you decide!

Sinful Colors Zeus(purple) and Nirvana (brown) kinda make up the dead flesh color, if that's what you take from it! I just figured they were good zombie colors. The stamp is BM 323, which is barbed wire. Unforetuneately the pics didn't capture it very well.

So there it is! IRL it actually looks really good! The wire is done with OPI DS Radiance.

As an after thought I added the blood spray. I figured a zombie would get out of barbed wire, right? As if that could stop them!! Ha!

Well, I hope everyone has an amazing Halloween. Keep safe out there. ♥

Lack of inspiration isn't always terrible!

Hoooo, boy!
I've been so out of inspiration the last few weeksish. I decided to go for simple and elegant. This only kind of worked, but simple it is!

Also, I've been a fan of Zoya Avery recently, so here it is again!! I used a Sinful Colors striper black with this. My striper is getting super goopy and thick. =( Time for some thinner, I guess!!
The goopiness is the reason for the stringy black. I say 'Meh!', I still like it.






















I still have no idea what to do for ComicCon, which begins Thursday. I've concluded Minecraft and Dexter are a MUST! I will probably end up with all creeper nails, because I seriously have no idea what to do on each nail. We shall see, yes?

Don't feel so sad if you don't hear from me until after ComicCon. I will probably not have too much internet time!! So we'll go with that assumption, and see you in a week and a half! =D

Hope to see some AWESOME nails in San Diego! I'll try to bring along a camera and take pics of the coolest ones. What a nerd, right? <3

So ready for spring!

Hello! It's been so warm lately. I've been enjoying it so much, I thought I would go ahead and share it on my nails!! Also I've been wanting to do tips for a while, AND I got new Zoya. What a better way to play?!

This here is Zoya Jancyn, with Sinful Colors UFO over the top. I wanted glitter. It's not like Jancyn isn't just beautiful all by itself... it's just that...GLITTER!!

I threw the fimo on as an afterthought. I felt it needed just a little something more.
I would usually place the fimo over the topcoat, but I cut it so thin it flattened out with no problem at all.

My kitty for reals is orange, so this reminds me of him!

This is Dr. Frank-N-Furter!! He likes to drink out of faucets and sleep on his back.

We got him thinking he was a girl...his siblings were VERY clearly boys. We brought 'her' home and named her Trixi. That was great and all until we noticed tiny male kitty parts on him...That's where his new name comes in! We call him Frankie for short!

Here's my two pretty kitties together! The black one is Buddy! =D

Zoya Haul and Curent Mani!

Heyyy! So I ordered some friends a ton of Zoya!! I reaaalllyyy wanted to share the haul because it's so awesome!!

Used SC Secret admirer with a bit of Zoya Indigo sponged over that. Then a white striper. The rainbow is a red striper, CG Breakin', CG Solar Power, SH Ivy league, Zoya Jo, SC Fiji.

I think I will redo this one someday, but better! Also I don't know why the prism is so cloudy... We can ignore that!

Nyan Nyan!!

I did a bit of a twist on the Nyan Cat nails!! Generally people do Nyan for their rainbow nails day of the challenge. Aw no, not me! Supernatural day! 'Cause you know..He's in space?? I think this probably could have been done better, but oh well! Enjoy!

My camera was being silly, so I didn't get many good pics, so these will have to do!
OPI Pink Friday is the poptart frosting. CG Sexy Lady is sprinkles. Zoya Pandora for the poptart edge. Orly Sweet Peacock for the blue. SH Wet Cement for kitty! Rainbow is: CG Bing Cherry, CG Breakin', CG Solar Power, SH Ivy League, Zoya Jo, CG Grape Juice. I used a sinful colors striper for black!

I'm sorry, I feel like this post is lacking something. May have to do with the design didn't work as well as I was hoping, and I'm a little bummed. =( Oh well! I still like it!

So day 23 is Inspired by a Movie.
I was going to do Tron...Then Wall-E...But ended with Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! I was pretty much at a loss and was going to just do the gold W thing he wears...But boooooriiinnggg....
So we've got pinstripes for his jacket, and the purple representing his fabulous gloves. Accent is his hat-band!!

Used: SH White on, SC Black on Black, and the So Easy Stripe Rite striper thing you can get at Sally's. The red glittery one, obviously!!! The stamp plate is a knock off I have of Konad m57. I got it from that As Seen on TV stamper thing bought at Rite Aid.

I think Gaga must wear a lot of lace out on her motorcycle. Also, I'm going to do my nails like this when I go on a big ride this summer. Yes...I ride a motorcycle! =D And I friggedy love it!!!

Stargazing

I LOVE these Galaxy Nails!

I actually took my time and did some nice Galaxy Nails for day 19 of the challenge!!!

So many colors used!! Sinful Colors Secret Admirer is the base. It's a pretty black and silver sparkley. Sponged over that is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On, China Glaze Breakin (orange), Sinful Colors Beautiful Girl(pink), OPI Yodel Me on My Cell(blue).

I dotted some white and was going to leave it at that, but SH Twinkle Twinkle just called to me for MORE stars in the night!

Day 16 of the Challenge - Workin' on those cuticles!!

Every night I look at my cuticles and realize that I picked at them during the day again. They certainly are better now then they were six months ago, but it's still driving me nuts!

Anyhow, ignore them! Here's the tribal patern nails. I think this is about what it was going for.

Two coats of Zoya - Jules, with Sinful Colors nail art for the lines. I'm in love with Jules!

 So, any tips on better lighting? It's all up to the lighting with these shots, as the only camera I have is a little Sony Bloggie I picked up on a trip once. It was free, beggars can't be choosers. I'll certainly work on that...Until then, just enjoy the art!
