Dear Summer, Please Don't End

Hi all!
I got some winter blues the other day. Like, I was super sad because it's going to be cold soon. Ok, I mean in a few months, but still. I decided I needed at least one really good summer manicure to make me feel better, so her is a pretty!

This is Zoya Jolene (bottle), and Zoya Jancyn. The gradient kinda workedish. Not too bad though. I'm REALLY pleased with the stamp. Its BM 318 with Julep Eileen. It's a very nice stamping polish I've decided. I'm pleased I didn't forget how to stamp so much.=) However, If I redid this it would be with a stamp over the gradient, and not just a solid color. Middle finger is Zoya Miranda Pixie Dust. I so love texture polish. I need like a thousand more!!!!

I forgot I love water marbles!

Hey all! How's that giveaway going? What?! Check out the last post for more details. =)

Anyhow, here is a fun marble I did. I forgot how great they can be! The end result is always so awesome!!

Colors used were ALL Zoya! <3 Kendal, Perrie, Keiko, and Neeka! Neeka is super pretty because it has little glitters in it, but it dried very fast on the water, and was hard to create a design with. It got clumpy fast....You don't want to see my other hand...Laziness happened there! I quite like this marble. I need to do more. =)

Candy Stripes

Hey everyone!!

Until then, here is a super cute mani I did today; complete with more pictures than usual! Woohoo! Tim says that his first thought was star burst, but not the candy! Then I thought of candy... and then it looked delicious!
I've been thinking lots of polish looks delicious lately...Whimsical anyone? =D

So I wanted to do something more colorful than what I have been wearing. I made a cool green franken on Thursday, but it's super fall-ish. I'll share it with you later!

Zoya Dana is so pretty!!

After Dana, I used tape to apply Jolene. I'm a bit sad because Dana and SV weren't totally dry, wrinkling them a bit under the tape, and making the lines uneven..Boo.

While that was super pretty, I decided glitter. Right?? That's always a good finishing move!!!
I tried to gradient this, but it's not got enough glitter in it to gradient very well. But still so pretty!!!

Had to try my new Essie, may as well make it V-day!

Hello lovely readers! Hopefully this day is treating you fairly well. If you don't have a SO in your life, there is always nail polish!! And that most times is better anyway, yeah? xD
Anyway here's this. Got a clearance Essie and had to try it!

Essie Super Bossa Nova,with black loose glitter over a cheapy clear coat! I mattified it with Sephora by OPI mattecoat.
I love those fun little beads, but they take soooo long to put on. Also it got nudged and the lines went crooked. Whatevs!!

I didn't reaaalllyyy want to do a V-day mani, but my bestie got me a cute NOPI with little pink hearts. She used it and I was going to as well, but suddenly decided against it and here we are!

Getting ready for a Nail Polish party! And my recent mani.

Hey guys! I'm sooo excited to say that I will be having a fabulous polish party tomorrow night! It's going to be so much fun! I've been planning it for about a month now and can't wait for tomorrow night!
Everyone who is coming is getting a crazy awesome goodie bag. Inside there will be:
- A Wet 'n Wild polish.
- Toe seperators
- Dotting tools
- Buffing file
- Orange sticks
- Cosmetic Sponge
- Various tools for cleaning/prepping nails.

With that, I will be teaching people how to use tape, gradients, water marble, stamping etc.
I will have a little swap basket where people can trade new or gently used polishes that retail of $5 or more. The original 10 in the basket are all from my collection. I get to keep whatever I end up with at the end of the night!

Top it all off I will also be having a raffle. Everyone gets one entry and periodically throught the night I will draw names. Prizes are AWESOME!!! One bottle of Seche Vite, 3 Stamping kits, a Zoya gift box, and an extra special grand prize! Not telling right now as some of you readers will be there tomorrow. Surprise!!!

Anyhow...Here's my mani as of recent. Its day 25, inspired by fashion!!! I decided against Gaga again, although that woulda been cool! China glaze Purple Panic Neon, with my brand new Black! It's Dominating Thigh Highs by Venique. Apparently Venique is new? Also apparently you can only get it at Cosmo Prof? I dunno, that's where I got it though and I LOVE it! I will be making that collection huge now, I just know it!

So this CG has a matte finish...Or did I just get a bad bottle? I say bad loosely, because its AWESOME!! But I dunno, seemed a little strange to me when it doesn't say matte anywhere on the bottle...Any thoughts?

Also, don't you HATE it when you take pics one night, sleep, go to work, chip the nails up, then post your blog only to find there was a cat hair on your nail THE WHOLE pic process? Yeah...Ignore that.

Also got my fimo canes today...I think I suck at using them.
I pressed too hard and it rippled and bubbled. They're so fun to slice! =D I went crazy with one and sliced a bunch and didn't even use them.

I just have no clue about them. Seems like common knowledge, but honestly, I have no idea! They are so foreign to me...Gotta play I guess!
