Untried Challenge Number 5: Warm
Hey friends! Late post today, sorry about that! But I got it in before midnight, YEAHH!
It's was the boyfriend's graduation ceremony today, so that was a bit more important than nails. His department color is orange(engineering), so this mani is fitting. =) YAY congrats to him!
Anyhow, I experimented with different places in my house for lighting today, and I've come to a conclusion!! I need a new light box. =/
The pictures aren't too bad actually. The top one is so pretty! That is definitely my favorite pic style for nails. Too bad that huge glare takes away from art. But simple things like this are perfect!
This is Sation Sunset Silk, and accent as Zoya Tanzy. The Sation is a pearly finish, so I used the sponging technique for the last layer. Streaks are gone!! Thank you SO much for telling me that trick. I can like my pearl finishes now! =)
I think I got the Sation last summer, and Tanzy like 2 weeks ago. Hey, that counts!!

I love the glittery accent nail! Thanks for the heads up about sponging, I'll have to try that. And congratulations to Tim! :)
Those are some great oranges, I love Tanzy!
Also congrats on your boyfriend's graduation! :)
Ooh, thanks for telling ME that trick! I do struggle with pearl finishes sometimes. :) The accent nail is gorgeous. I kind of like the bottom photo actually, but a lightbox would be helpful ;) I almost made one, then I found a spot where I could set a table right next to a window.
Yay Tim! That is much more important than nails. Speaking of which, I'm in love with Tanzy now. It's so pretty. I love the accent nail.
Sunset Silk is the perfect name for that color. I love how warm and silky it looks, lol, I have nothing more to add! I adore pearl finishes and I think I need this one in my stash ♥
Very pretty colours :) I hope you had a lovely day at the graduation!
tell you boyfriend congrats! i just watched mine graduate last night, and he's in engineering too! he also had a bright orange hood to wear with his cap and gown! what kind of engineering does yours do? this is a really fitting mani for the occasion! looks just like the engineering color
